Since 2013, the MUBR has been leading the management committee comprising a host of stakeholders with a close connection to this protected area in the Uapishka (Groulx) Mountains sector.

This program involves several projects carried out to acquire knowledge, build capacity and design evidence-based decision-support tools within the Uapishka biodiversity reserve.
This project is part of ongoing efforts expended by every Canadian biosphere reserve to contribute to the goal of protecting 30% of their territories by 2030.
