The protection of privacy and the personal and sensitive information with which it is entrusted is of the utmost importance for the Manicouagan-Uapishka World Biosphere Reserve (MUWBR). Its duty of impartiality and neutrality guides the application of the privacy policy in the organization’s areas of activity.

The MUWBR and its business units collect and use personal information only when necessary and solely for specific purposes. For instance, it does so when an individual is registering for an activity, a public consultation or an event, when subscribing to a newsletter, when taking part in a hiring process or when establishing a contractual relationship with the MUWBR or its business units as a supplier. For survey, study, research or consultation purposes, the MUWBR or its business units will only share de-identified or anonymous information and only if justified by the context.
