Our MU Conseils business unit worked with the Essipit Innu First Nation Council in the implementation of its comprehensive community planning (CCP) and the supporting member engagement strategy. The purpose was to identify a community vision for 2050 and the major projects to implement in order to achieve it.
The exercise was based on an inclusive and creative consultation process aimed at strengthening community spirit and inviting members to brainstorm on the best approaches to ensure the short and long-term well-being and assertion of the community, while protecting local resources and Nitassinan.
