The MUBR aims to train the next generation and provide students with unique, enriching, and memorable learning experiences. By creating spaces where science, Indigenous knowledge, and the exploration of the world come together, the MUBR fosters students’ curiosity and broadens their horizons for the future. Here are three examples of “territorial classes” offered through MUBR and its partners:

Pamishkatau-Biosphere Class: An educational experience at the foot of the Uapishka Mountains that offers young people the privilege of experiencing the convergence of scientific and Innu knowledge, guided by a biologist and an Innu guide whose combined perspectives reveal the full richness of a single territory.

Students on Ice: A scientific and cultural adventure aboard an expedition ship in the Arctic, accompanied by a professional, passionate, and multidisciplinary team, allowing young people to discover exceptional northern environments and participate in numerous educational activities.

MAB Class: An initiative building on the UNESCO designation of Manicouagan-Uapishka to offer young people in the region the privilege of accessing a vast international network for exchange opportunities and formative experiences at other UNESCO sites
