This guide talks about all the environmental issues that the Quebec's CCC are facing: healthy eating, water and energy management, waste, toxic baby bottles, household products, air quality, transportation, paper, etc. Every Child Care Centres throughout the province of Quebec can have this guide for free at this adress www.cpedurable.org.
Developed with the collaboration of 9 CCCs, their regional grouping and also their national association, this guide proposes to Child Care Centres employees simple and practical solutions to provide local responses to global issues.
Although this guide is first made for Child Care Centres, every Day Care Centres can learn from the content and apply the guide's recommandations. |

A green event is organized to reduce the harmful effects and to increase positive impacts in respect of each of the three poles of sustainable development : environmental, social and economic.
