The Bassin versant Manicouagan organization is a non-profit one and is active since 1999 (incorporated in 2002) whose mandate is to promote the water management by ensuring the coordination of all stakeholders with an interest in water management and the development of its catchment area.
Organization dedicated to the protection and enhancement of the river environment, the Comité ZIP de la rive nord de l'estuaire realises continuously projects that affect ecosystems and local communities who live along the estuary of the Côte-Nord.
The Conseil Régional de l'Environnement de la Côte-Nord (CRECN) is mandated to promote sustainable development and the environment protection by promoting the inclusion of environmental concerns regarding regional development. |
